Join us for a trip to the Famous Cabbage Island Clambake. This is a full day trip

We will leave from the Recreation and Senior Center at 8:30am to head up to Boothbay Harbor. We will make two rest stops on the way up. From there we will board the Bennie Alice to take a narrated scenic cruise of Maine's coastline while we head to Cabbage Island.

While on Cabbage Island we will be treated to a traditional Downeast clambake that includes fish chowder, two lobsters (you can substitute chicken), clams, golden corn on the cob, potato, onion, hard steamed egg, and Maine's finest blueberry cake.

After the meal, you'll have time to explore the natural beauty of Cabbage Island. We will depart Cabbage Island at 4pm to head back to Boothbay Harbor to head back home.

This event is rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather. We will do our best to give everyone an idea of the forecast the week of the trip.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

You may cancel up until 2 weeks before the trip for a full refund. Within 2 weeks up until two days before the trip, you may cancel for a refund minus a 20% cancellation fee. Within two days before and up to the day of the trip you may cancel for a refund minus the 20% cancellation fee, ONLY if we can find someone to take your spot.
